The Connex Saturn CX-33 is the newest base station radio on the market. It hits all the high points of its predecessors including the new second generation board, enhanced clarifier, 5 digit frequency counter and so on. This radio is very similar to the Galaxy DX2517 in features and its 25 watts PEP power. The biggest advantage this radio has is the new ELECTRIC BLUE LED DISPLAY. The new display has a crispness and coolness that the Galaxy DX2517 doesn’t offer. However the Galaxy 2517 has been on the market for a while now and is time tested, so if you want the new clean look buy the Connex CX-33 Saturn, if you want the time tested reliability buy the Galaxy DX-2517.
